Biden slammed by activist for condemning ‘agitators with no interest in justice’

Pan-African Community Action’s Netfa Freeman has slammed President Biden for drawing a comparison between “the good protesters and the bad protesters” in a bid to reduce violence in the wake of Chauvin’s verdict. Mr Biden said “there are those who will seek to exploit the raw emotions of the moment, agitators and extremists who have no interest in social justice … we can’t let them succeed. “There can never be any safe harbour for hate in America.” However Mr Freeman said “what’s very telling is what he said towards the end when he started speaking … about those who want to sow division and racial divide and he’s referring to the people who stood up and actually made this moment possible”. He told Sky News the “unrest and the dissatisfaction” was the product of centuries long racism in the United States caused by “the subjugation of the indigenous people here and the enslaved Africans brought here.”
