Police are appealing for information after one man was found with a stab wound, and another with a gunshot wound to the thigh.
A gunman remains at large following violent attacks on two brothers in Sydney’s West.
Police were called to Betty Cuthbert Ave, Ermington, at 3pm on Friday following reports a man had been stabbed.
The 30-year-old was found with a single stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers immediately launched an investigation and at around 6.30pm were informed the man’s younger brother, 28, had admitted himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his right thigh.
The injury was considered non-life threatening. Investigators believe the two incidents are linked.
