Japan’s prime minister arrives at the White House

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga has arrived at the White House – becoming the first foreign leader to have a face-to-face meeting with President Joe Biden. Foreign policy, climate change, auto tariffs and energy policy are among the topics set to be discussed by the world leaders. Before talking with the president, the prime minister met with Vice President Kamala Harris and noted the importance of the visit and its timing.
