Sky News host Rita Panahi says MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow essentially admitted on her program that she has to “rewire her brain” to “cope with people not wearing masks anymore” after the CDC released new guidance in the US. “I feel like I’m going to have to rewire myself so that when I see someone out in the world who’s not wearing a mask, I don’t instantly think ‘you are a threat’,” Ms Maddow said. “Or you are selfish or you are a COVID denier and you definitely haven’t been vaccinated. “I mean, we’re going to have to rewire the way that we look at each other.” The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention updated its guidance for fully vaccinated Americans this week. “Fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or physically distance in any setting, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance,” the CDC said.
